What is recorded when you take a Proust interview, and what happens to it.
what just happened?
A business invited you to a short conversation with its AI interviewer. The interviewer runs on Proust. It takes about 5 minutes, spoken or typed.
is my voice recorded?
No. Your conversation is transcribed live. No video or audio is saved. The written transcript is what is kept, and it is not used to train AI models.
why do you need my location?
Some businesses reward people who are at their venue. For those interviews, your location is checked once, when you start. Only the result is kept, not where you were. Other interviews do not ask for location.
what do you do with my contact info?
The email or phone number you give is used to send your reward and to keep rewards to one per person. It is not sold. It is de-linked from your interview within 12 months of your last reward. If the business sent you a personal link, the details in that link are saved with your interview. Your email is also how you open your rewards page. We email you a code each time.
will i hear from other businesses?
Only if you choose to. Your rewards page has an ‘I’m in’ button for invitations to future paid interviews. It is a separate choice with its own short agreement, and you can leave anytime.
how do i delete my data?
Email info@proust.dev from the address your reward was sent to. We delete your data within 45 days. If you gave no email, tell us the business and the date of the interview. Backup copies are deleted within 14 days.
