Get started
Create an interviewer from your website, share its link, and review each interview before a code goes out.
Create your interviewer
- Enter your website address on the homepage. Proust drafts an interviewer from it. No website? Choose “start from scratch” and describe the business.
- Review the questions. Keep, change or remove any of them, then choose Generate.
- Continue with Google and accept the terms.
Your link
The link allows your first 2 interviews free.
Finish setup
In your dashboard, work through these settings.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Compensation | Choose an Amazon gift card or a coupon for your product, then upload your codes. Before you generate, you see your codes next to your credit and can add more. Each approved interview receives the next code by email. |
| Who can take it | Anyone, or your customers. Each person gives an email before the interview starts; the code is sent there. For your customers, put each person’s email in the link and they skip that step. Once per person per project; projects published before October 19, 2026 that do not ask for an email allow one interview per person every 90 days. To match interviews to your own records, add custom fields. |
| Participants | Raise the number to interview more people, then select Update interviewer. |
| Automatic approval | Interviews you haven’t reviewed after 48 hours are approved automatically. |
Share the link
Put it in your email, on your website, or in a message. The link never changes.
Review interviews
Every interview waits for your approval before payment is sent. Proust’s read rates each interview on relevance, effort and comprehensiveness.
- Open an interview and read it with Proust’s read.
- Approve it to email the participant the next code, or reject it to send them a short note.
Results
The overview shows each question’s themes with the quotes behind them, and the satisfaction rating over time.
Dig deeper into any theme, open any transcript, or download it as a text file.
The sample workspace
Every account has one: a finished program with transcripts and results. Open it from your dashboard.
