To hear about future paid interviews from other businesses on Proust — occasional email invitations, each one a short conversation with a reward, each one yours to take or ignore. That’s the whole deal. It’s off unless you turned it on, and turning it off again is one email.
With the opt-in on, we keep what makes invitations relevant: your contact details, your interview history, and the kinds of places you’ve interviewed at. Without it, your contact details are kept only briefly for fraud prevention after a payout, then de-linked — the panel is what makes keeping them useful to you.
No one, by name. A business looking for participants sees pseudonymous relevance — “a regular at independent cafés in San Francisco” — never your name, contact info, or past answers. Your identity stays with Proust until you accept an invitation, and even then the new business only ever sees the new conversation.
Uncheck the box on any future reward claim, or email privacy@proust.dev — we’ll turn the opt-in off and de-link your contact details on the normal schedule. If your panel membership sits unused long enough, we delete the profile ourselves rather than hold it idle.
